I’m writing and posting this on Christmas morning.

Everyone is still sleeping, and my daily writing routine is in play.

Today, I don’t have a topic selected.

I don’t want to tackle something deep.

So, I’ll provide an observation that can serve us all any time of the year.

We need to relax.

Really relax.

The last several days I’ve noticed I have forgotten how.

Or at least forgotten how without feeling guilt.

I can’t let go of the nagging, always unfinished to do list.

Projects around the house.

Work activities.

Deadlines and due dates.

Turning them off is tricky.

Even on a weekend or a holiday.

I need to relearn the practice of relaxing.

Do nothing.

Sit.

Relax.

Your Turn

Do you struggle to completely relax?

Is this more difficult at some times of the year than at others?

How could you find 10 minutes today to just sit and do nothing?
