Interviews are a time for us to express our qualifications.
Show our personality.
Demonstrate interest in the role and company.
Yet, it’s also a great time for us to determine if we want to work for this company.
Nearly every interview will wrap up with “Do you have any questions for me/us?”
Being prepared for these conversations will achieve 2 purposes.
It will show that we have interest in the role and company and are engaged in the conversation.
On the flipside, it will help us gauge if the position is the right fit.
Questions should be based on our priorities and consider the person we are speaking with.
We would want to ask the HR leader different questions than the hiring manager.
My Perspective
Each of us will have a different list of attributes that are important to us.
They can range from work structure, to benefits, the position, career development, and more.
