I saw an article the other day that mentioned, “Firefly tourism is booming.”

My first thought was, “Is that really a thing?”

Then my mind wandered to still summer nights.

Chasing fireflies in the backyard.

Catching them in a jar.

Watching them glow.

Magic.

As we head into the weekend here in Michigan, consider chasing a few fireflies.

I spotted them lighting up our yard last weekend.

For a few minutes, it felt like being a kid again.
