In 2010, I founded One Shade Greener.

A company focused on the was environment.

Change habits one by one to lighten our impact on the earth.

Each step moving us One Shade Greener.

That was 13 years ago.

Today, the mission and philosophy still stand.

Yet, my perspective has expanded.

My Perspective

I’ve realized over the years that the idea of incrementality applies to so much more.

Any goal we have in any area of our lives can be achieved with this approach.

Step by step.

Day by day.

One Shade Greener.

Green is the color of the environment and the color of prosperity.

Green lights signal go.

Green metrics of any kind are good.

My belief is that we can use One Shade Greener as a reminder toward any aim.

Getting more of what we want out of life is a series of changes.

Always progressing to make our lives, our homes, our workplaces, and our cities One Shade Greener.

Maybe this is where the saying “the grass is greener” comes from.

This leads to my biggest discovery:

“If our lives, homes, and work aren’t sustainable, we won’t make the environment a priority.

The only way to achieve the original goal is through our broader lives.”

– Lori Sullivan

Looking toward 2024, we can consider our journey to a life that is One Shade Greener.
