Halfway Day – Do You Have a Vision?

Halfway Day (July 2nd) is quickly approaching. This is a great time to reflect on our goals. Asking ourselves how we are progressing. Do goals feel on track? Did some fall off the list? Were others added? And, of course, how do we plan for the second half?

Before jumping into this work, I recommend another question:

“What is my vision for the 2nd half of the year?”

At a high level, what do you want the rest of 2026 to look like?

Are there moments of celebration? Big projects on the horizon? A change in priorities?

After backing up to consider your vision, then ask the question:

“Do my goals align to my vision?”

This can provide a whole different perspective.

You might find you are chasing the wrong goals…or someone else’s goals…

You could realize that a primary goal isn’t even on the list.

While there are many things in our lives that are fixed, we do have flexibility.

You can start to shape your life and career into the visions you set.

It may take time. The key is to start.

So, what is your vision for the rest of 2026?

My post earlier this week titled Halfway Day Planning provides ideas for how you might spend the day and reinforces the importance of setting aside the time to celebrate in a way that’s right for you.
