When I think about corporate leadership, teachers come to mind.
The lessons that could be learned from the classroom would create a new kind of environment in the workplace.
The image below (source) notes just some of the responsibilities of a teacher.

Roles of the Teacher
I grew up with my mother being a teacher. That taught me that it all started with the lesson plan. The need to go into every day with a structured approach to move the learning forward. Imagine arriving at work each day with 25 people in a room that you were responsible for guiding for the next 8 hours.
What if our company leaders were equally focused on the plan for each day?
They would arrive prepared to deliver the other qualities on the chart. Ensuring time was set aside for assessments, feedback, and emotional support. Adapting along the way to individual needs and the shifting moods of the room. Managing all the variables to ensure the day gets through the content that was planned.
Along the way, spending time communicating to “parents” (i.e. leadership) on how things are going.
Your Turn
Are you in a leadership role?
If so, how would your days change when looking through the lens of a teacher?
How would this approach change the culture in your organization?
