Welcome to the Saturday Summary.

Last week, I introduced a workshop that helps you plan your 2026 like a business. There is a lot of background on why I’m so passionate about this topic and I’ve highlighted some reasons why in a post this week titled The 3.9-Year Job.

This post talks about why tenures are shrinking, and company loyalty is on a downward spiral. While the information is just the facts of what’s happening, I’m staying focused on what both employees and employers can do to positively navigate this new world.

The future of our work life is not a battle between employees and employers.

It’s an opportunity to redefine a future that better meets the needs of both companies and individuals.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the topic, and it would be great if you joined me in strategically planning your professional life in 2026.

What I’ve Been Up To

This week, things have been busy as I was pulling ahead work and projects at home in order to take time off at the end of the week. I’m now in full swing with the end of week activity – driving my parents to Florida for the winter. As I write this summary, we are staying the night in Tennessee. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the fall colors were changing in the mountains. The views today have been great and we are enjoying the trip.
