45 days from today is Thanksgiving in the US.
That marks the moment that the routines of the year fall away and holiday season begins. Which also means we have 45 days left as a final push to meet our goals for the year. As you think about what you hoped to accomplish in 2026, what sits undone?
Have some things started, but haven’t been completed?
Are there other things that haven’t even begun?
Which one are you most disappointed with?
Could it be done in 45 days?
What would it take?
Below are a few ideas on how to tackle some of your goals before the year winds down.
Do you have 15 minutes?
Consider a 15-minute project to check some goals off the list. 15 minutes every day for 45 days is 11 ½ hours. Imagine what you could accomplish in that time.
Weekend Warrior
There are also 6 more weekends between now and Thanksgiving. What if you devoted an hour a day to a project each weekend day? That would be 12 hours. Look at the goal list (or create a new own) and see what you could do.
Deep Dive
The third option is to take a deep dive and dedicate a day or two to a goal. Often, we get to the end of the year and have vacation days remaining. Take a few to work toward the things that matter to you.
Summary
I lot can happen in the last 45 days before the holiday season begins. Take a minute today to think about the goals that are still on your list and create a plan to accomplish at least one that is still open.
Good luck!
