Welcome to the Saturday Summary.
What I’ve Posted – Blog Summary
This week the blog covers a variety of topics and provides a couple MeEO posts before the Membership begins on May 1st.
Manage, Maintain, and Modify. The first post of the week talks about the tasks we have around the house and how we can schedule in the time to manage, maintain, and modify.
May-cember: Get Ready for the May-ham. The month of May can easily sneak up on us. With sports in full swing, the school year coming to a close, weddings, and showers, our calendars can be full.
The Scaries. We all have things that scare us when it comes to our work. This post covers how we can start to recognize when it’s happening and create strategies to overcome.
MeEO Membership – Monthly Themes. This post talks about topics that will be covered in the next three months of the MeEO Membership.
Are MeEOs Also Employees? Yes! We can lead corporate, professional lives and be a MeEO. The approach is a mindset, not a role or type of work.
What I’ve Listened To – PodList
The list this week is short. I’m not sure why, but very few things caught my attention. I hope you enjoy these.
Laid Off? 10 Actions to Shorten Your Job Search by Months and Reduce Stress. 16 minutes. Happen to Your Career. In this episode, Scott reveals the counterintuitive strategies that create multiple job options instead of just frantically collecting rejections.
Why Introverts Make the Best Networkers. 17 minutes. The Next Big Idea Daily. Matthew Pollard highlights his book The Introvert’s Edge and demonstrates how introverts are good at networking.
Stop Looking Dated. Part 1. 38 minutes. Part 2 – 28 minutes. The Everyday Style School. This one is for my female followers. It’s always good to know those things in our closet that are going to make us look dated. These two episodes cover some pieces it’s definitely time to remove.
What I’ve Been Up To
This week, my professional focus has been on the trends and evolution of CRM. Most of my career has been spent in Relationship Marketing. While much has changed, many of the principles remain the same. I see a number of trends on the horizon where I believe Gen Z is starting to shape expectations in the space. More to come…
Outside of work, this week was very different from most. I flew to Florida to help my parents pack up their winter home and drive them back to Ohio for the summer. We’ve had a great week spending time together.
