Welcome to the Saturday recap. Enjoy!

Personal Development

The blog posts this week are inspired by personal reflection and exploration. Last Sunday, I turned 55 and considered this milestone through several different lenses.  For anyone out there near their 50s (before or after), I hope you find these helpful.  And, if you are far from these milestones, you might get some insight of what to expect as the years pass by.

55 Personal Development Post Highlights. This first post provides links to 55 of my favorite posts from over 400 on the blog.  I hope you find some that speak to your journey!

The Importance of Midpoints. We have career chapters with starts, stops, and midpoints.  This post explores what happens at midpoints and the shift from exploration to impact.

15-Minute Projects. In 2023, I ran an experiment with a 15-minute curation project.  I take stock at the midpoint of 2024 to see how I’ve continued and evolved this routine.

Careers Over 50. This post explores the many ways that career paths are structured for those on the rise, not those looking to climb down the ladder into a new phase of work over 50.

Women Over 50 Feeling Invisible. The final post of the week explores how and why women over 50 might be feeling invisible and considers what could be done to stop the trend.

One Shade Greener

The sustainability post this week – Green Grilling – provides information and ideas on different types of grills, efficiency, grill mats, and cleaning tools.

If you are interested in starting or continuing a sustainability journey, One Shade Greener at Home, could be the perfect resource. Full of brands and links to put greener products at your fingertips.
