Welcome to the Saturday post. This is where I summarize podcasts that inspired me throughout the week and give a quick recap of what was covered on both blogs. Enjoy!

PodList

This week, I connected with fewer podcasts that felt right to mention here.  Below are three I thought you might connect with.  And, at the end, are links to the Happier podcasts which I enjoy each week.

Farsighted: How we Make the Decisions That Matter the Most. 14 minutes. The Next Big Idea Club Daily. This episode features Steven Johnson the author of Farsighted and has some great decision-making tips.

Today is a Good Day for Getting Started. 4 minutes. Before Breakfast.  This short podcast is a great reminder that sometimes projects seem so big, it’s hard to get started.  The best antidote is to start.

How to be Less Busy in a Busy, Busy World. 8 minutes. Optimal Living Daily.  This podcast reads a blog post by Leo Babauta focusing on slowing down and enjoying life. A good reminder for all of us.

Happier and Happier in Hollywood.  These are two podcasts I enjoy weekly.  They touch on a lot of different topics on work, life, and infusing happiness into our everyday.  Take a listen and see if they might be a great add to your weekly list.

Career Coach Considerations – Building on the post from Wednesday, this post covers things to consider if engaging a career coach is a right next step for you.

Personal Board of Directors – The final post of the week covered the concept of a personal board of directors and what you might do to set one up for your own career development.
