This week has a focus on time, energy and daily rituals. As we settle into the last part of the year, it’s a great time to start thinking about what is working and what may need a bit of a reset.

Time Consciousness

On a recent episode of the Self-Improvement daily podcast titled Time Management is a Skill (3 minutes), there was a brief mention of “time consciousness”.

The phrase was tied to being aware of your time and energy.

I really like the words – time conscious.

Becoming conscious of where we are spending both our time and our energy.

As I coach people looking to advance their personal goals, one challenge that almost always comes up is finding space in a busy life to take on the tasks needed.

There are always reasons for the lack of time and energy.

A busy job.

Family demands.

Chores around the house.

There is never a shortage of things to do.

The best way I’ve found to look for space is with a time & energy audit.

Spending a week tracking where the time goes.

What I realized from the podcast is that this process creates time consciousness.

We suddenly realize where all the hours in the day go.

Often this helps in finding space needed to tackle something new.

Your Turn

Have you ever tried a time and/or energy audit?

If so, did it increase your time consciousness?

If not, why not take the opportunity this week to take the audit on?

Marketing Newsletter

We are all trying to find our footing as AI enters all aspects of our work (and life). This week, the Fingerprints Marketing Newsletter focuses on the human side. Specifically, the judgement we need to apply to all the results. The managing of agents. The human layer that decides if the output makes sense. How do we teach and manage “judgement”?
