Time confetti is something I wrote about several years ago.
The concept, coined by Brigid Schulte, is the negative fragmentation of our days.
Little moments that start to add up to a day where we feel like nothing was accomplished.
Lately, I’ve been thinking that there could be a benefit to time confetti.
Little moments that we could take advantage of instead of letting them slip away.
What if three, 10-minute moments came up in your day?
How would you spend the time?
Likely it would be filled in a way we don’t remember.
I wonder if we had a list of 10-minute projects would we use the time to do them?
If we did, at the end of the day, three of the projects would be checked off the list.
Time confetti would shift from a challenge to a celebration.
Completing the “little things” that never seem to make it to the top of the to-do list.
I’m going to give this list a try and see what happens.
Your Turn
How do you fill small pockets of time?
Do you have a project list waiting for when time opens up?
Could you be more intentional with little pockets of time?
