On December 12, 2011, Drinks to Design was born.

The company where I brought together my loves of branding, jewelry, and wine.

The brand that let me express my creativity in a new way.

Inspired by upcycling and drawn to beer and wine packaging (labels, corks, etc.).

I started designing jewelry from packaging parts.

Over the years, the brand and I have had great times.

We started a blog documenting the process.

Each week, a beer or wine brand would be the inspiration for the designs.

We talked about the background of the brand, had a tasting, and unveiled the jewelry.

Products were sold in an Etsy shop and highlighted on social media.

We showcased our work at art fairs and festivals.

Some of the alcohol brands we featured even shared our designs in their marketing!

We celebrated the good times.

And we learned a lot.

Marketing on your own is VERY different than marketing inside a corporation.

Some things we tried worked, while others were a complete failure.

Over the years, the business faded and pieces were only made every now and then.

Which is why it saddens me to announce that on May 29, 2026, the brand officially passed.

The digital footprint including the URL, emails, Etsy shop, and social media were sunset.

The brand lived a good life and made a very positive impact on mine.

On this day, I’m sad.

Yet grateful I had the opportunity to be part of this awesome brand.

Cheers, Drinks to Design. Thanks for all the good times.
