Welcome to the Saturday Summary.

What I’ve Posted – Blog Summary

This week, my favorite post is the one on creativity. No matter what our life or work looks like, we need creativity in everything we do. That post addresses the times when creativity goes dry.

Becoming You: Book Review. I really enjoyed Suzy Welch’s latest book focused on discovering our “Area of Transcendence”. An overview and what I enjoyed is included in this post.

Applying the 5D Model to MeEO. Looking at the product development process and discovering how this framework is a good process to follow on our paths to becoming MeEOs.

When Creativity Runs Out of Air. We all need air to survive. Our creativity is no different. This post explores what happens when the air runs out and how we can get it back.

What Does a MeEO Do on Sunday? Sunday is a time that we can relax and prepare for the week ahead. A MeEO leads life on offense. This post explores how to start the week that way.

What I’ve Listened To – PodList

This episode features Seth Godin. While I’ve listened to many of his interviews, this one uncovers new insight.

What I’ve Been Up To

On the professional front, this week was focused completely on client work. Because “life” had more going on, I planned and made sure that this week focused on what had to be done and let the nice to have’s sit on the list for next week. We all have things that come up (expected and unexpected). I like to keep in mind that it’s the way we roll through the non-traditional weeks that provide a gauge for how we are doing on our paths to leading life like a MeEO.

Outside of work, I spent a couple days in Ohio with my parents as my mom had outpatient surgery on her shoulder. I was glad to be able to help and get them settled back in at home. On Friday, I went to the air show that is in town for the weekend with my husband and son. We had a good time, and I was able to just relax with my camera and take lots of photos of the planes.
