What I’ve Been Up To
This week, I officially started writing the MeEO book. I now have a Scrivener file and have a draft of the Introduction and Chapter 1. On the marketing strategy front, I’m really enjoying my work helping a couple clients with their branding and learning more about how to leverage gamification as a marketing tool. The key is that gamification is not always an overt game. Knowing when a game is the right approach and when something more subtle works better is what drives results.
Outside of work, I started a “junk journal”. I had seen online that these were trending and wanted to learn more. I would describe it as modern scrapbooking. Instead of all the formal materials, you are encouraged to find things around the house and create a little book. I decided to “junk journal” my summer. So, I’ve found a little book, selected a word for the summer (savor), and started laying out the pages to capture the memories that unfold.
What Do You Think?
Did the blog posts this week spark any ideas for you to test out in the week ahead?
Which podcast was the first you wanted to listen to this week?
Would a junk journal or selecting a word for the summer make sense for you this season?
