What I’ve Posted – Blog Summary

This week we continue to transition from one calendar year to another. The posts this week help you consider hopes, dreams, and possibilities for the year ahead.

How Do You Want to Feel? The first post of the week has us considering the year ahead through our emotions. When you consider the year, how do you want to feel?

Exploring Possibilities. A new year can often feel full of hope and possibility. This post encourages us to dream and explore what might be possible in the year ahead.

What I’ve Listened To – PodList

This holiday week, 5 short episodes make the list. I connected with this first one and plan to give it a try in the upcoming weeks. For those who want to start sharing content online, I would encourage listening to the second one on the list.

Manifesting Someone to Watch Over You. 8 minutes. The Best Advice Show. This advice comes from songwriter & musician Cassandra Jenkins. She invites us to consider the ritual of creating a “cosmic guest list” of people living or dead that we would like to have with us in a particular moment. This creates a mindset that is unique and powerful.

Anything is Good. 6 minutes. Before Breakfast. This episode talks about how there isn’t any such thing as productivity debt – anything we do is progress toward the goal.

Start Creating and Share the Dang Thing. 9 minutes. Optimal Work Daily. This podcast is all about taking small steps and not being held back by perfectionism.

Unique Value Proposition Examples for your Business to Command Premium Pricing. 11 minutes. Optimal Work Daily. This episode highlights tips for creating value in your offerings that your audience is willing to pay – value creation over price.

Do you Rule with Claws & Teeth – Try Leading with Engagement Instead. 10 minutes. Optimal Work Daily. This podcast discusses the pitfalls of fear-based leadership and highlights a better way.

What I’ve Been Up To

This week has been all about celebrating the season. I’ve enjoyed holiday events with family and friends catching up and having fun together. In between the festivities, I’ve spent time reflecting on the past year and starting to dream of the possibilities the new year holds. There has also been a fair amount of football game watching going on here – did you see the 6 overtimes of the Toledo game?! Go Rockets.
