Welcome to the Saturday post. This is where I summarize podcasts that inspired me throughout the week and give a quick recap of what was covered on both blogs. Enjoy!

PodList

This week the podcasts recommendations are a single episode, a week of episodes, and a new series.  Hopefully, at least one will grab your attention.

How to Solve the Education Crisis for Boys and Men – 16 minutes. Ted Talks Daily.  We hear so much about equity for women in the workplace – which is important.  However, I found this podcast to provide an interesting perspective on the considerations we should have in mind for boys and men.

There’s No Greater Force Than Culture (Marcus Collins) – 15 minutes. Next Big Idea Club Daily. This is the first of five episodes discussing Marcus Collin’s book “For the Culture: The Power Behind What We Buy, What We Do, and Who We Want to Be”.  There is so much I love about this series, especially as a marketer.  He even references framework from “Lovemarks” – one of my favorite marketing books.  If you like this first episode, I recommend S21 episodes 2-5.

Wilder – Series.  For those who grew up reading Laura Ingalls Wilder books or watching Little House on the Prairie, this new podcast series might be a fun listen.  They are digging into the history and visiting the sights to uncover details behind what we might have read or watched on TV. Trailer here.
