Welcome to the Saturday post. This is where I summarize podcasts that inspired me throughout the week and give a quick recap of what was covered on both blogs. Enjoy!

PodList

This week, five podcasts make the list. All are relatively short (less than ½ hour). There isn’t a theme, just four solid listens to consider along your personal development journey.

Top Tips for Understanding Different Critical Wellness Dimensions. 12 minutes. Optimal Living Daily. This episode gives an overview of the 8 dimensions of wellbeing and how they all play a role in our overall satisfaction and happiness in life.

Can we Talk About Boreout? – 9 minutes. Modern Mentor. This podcast talks about when we get bored with our role at work and what to do about it.  I thought it was interesting that the concepts align with Monday’s personal development blog post below.

Does Working Hard Really Make You a Good Person? 12 minutes. TED Talks Daily. This episode explores how we need to resist the tendency of working hard to focus on the output of the work that we do and not just the “show” of working.

Parenting: Getting the Timing Right. 34 minutes. Hello Monday.  While this one won’t resonate with everyone, I listened and thought the episode was a good one for those in the family years.

Make Your Thrift Shopping Trips a Success. 22 minutes. Life Kit.  For anyone looking to explore secondhand shopping, this episode has some great advice and tips to consider.
