Time in the summer feels different.
Daylight lasts longer.
Work pace often slows.
Vacations abound.
Time is different.
My Perspective
With the shift in summer-time, we have options.
We can move into the “lazy days of summer” mode.
Relax and find much needed space.
We could also shift into “project” mode.
Do the things we don’t have time for in the heavy work and school waves.
Choices can be simple like spending time after dinner outside.
The sun is still up and the temperature perfect.
We will all choose our unique ways to spend the “time”.
Or not.
We may let summer slip by.
Feeling like time has been lost.
Being intentional lets us savor the season.
Think about the time ahead and consider what you could shift to enjoy summer-time.
Your Turn
Do you feel your time shift in the summer?
How could you plan an activity each week that will make summer memorable?
What could you do today to take advantage of the longer days?
