Stillness is something we may not get much of.

A busy life running from one thing to another.

Working.

Caring for those we love.

Doing projects.

We rarely see stillness.

The moments of quiet.

Nothing to be done.

Nowhere to be.

No distractions.

My Perspective

These days, stillness needs to be nurtured.

We need to intentionally find moments to just be still.

Encourage ourselves to stop moving.

Enjoy the moment of quiet.

Every day we can start to work in stillness.

Maybe it’s one minute at a time.

Three times a day.

That’s 3 minutes.

We can find 3 minutes.

Maybe over time the 3 minutes become 30 – 10 minutes each.

I wonder what happens when we have intentional stillness.

Your Turn

Are there moments in your day where you are completely still?

How could you start with just one minute?

Would you create a “stillness space” in your home, at work, or somewhere else for this practice?
