Welcome to the Saturday post. This is where I summarize podcasts that inspired me throughout the week and give a quick recap of what was covered on both blogs. Enjoy!

PodList

This week, there are four podcasts that stood out to me.  Topics include setting boundaries, taking risks, and creating even if you aren’t seeing visible impact.  I hope you find some that resonate with you.

Why Do You Say Yes When You Want to Say No? 15 minutes. Next Big Idea Club Daily.  This is the first of five podcasts all about how to say no.  This is the first of the five episodes last week.  If you like this one, check out the other four. For those of us who struggle to say “no”, this is worth listening to.

The Art of Less: How Minimal Living Inspires Creativity. 8 minutes. Optimal Living Daily. This episode talks about the benefits of constraints and how they can help us be more creative.

Rodriguez and the Invisible Impact. 16 minutes. The Accidental Creative with Todd Henry. This podcast tells the story of Rodriguez and delivers the message that we may never know the impact of the work we do.

If Others Can, You Can. 5 minutes. Before Breakfast. This podcast provides a reminder that we can do things we are intimidated by.  If others can do things, it’s likely we can too.

Output vs. Input – This post suggests that we prioritize our daily output over our daily input. Spending time producing work before consuming ideas and information ensures we get things done.
