Welcome to the Saturday recap. Enjoy!

Personal Development

This week has an eclectic mix of posts. I really enjoyed researching and summarizing executive functions and believe there is a lot of opportunity for more training in the space. I also have personally been using the “write for clarity” approach and wholeheartedly believe it works.

Four Rooms. In the first post of the week, we look at an Indian proverb that spoke of a house with four rooms – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – and how we need to visit each every day.

Write for Clarity. We often hear about the value of journaling, but don’t hear examples of how to positively leverage the practice at work. This post explores one way of journaling at work.

Possible. When we shift the words in our head and what we say out loud from “never” to “definitely” we can begin to explore what is possible in our lives.

Executive Function. If you aren’t familiar with this term, this post is worth a read. These are learned functions, but sometimes overlooked in training and coursework.

Anatomy of a Strength. The final post of the week has us digging deeper and understanding the gifts we bring to the world. We need to appreciate all we have to offer.

One Shade Greener

This week, the sustainability post – Prepping Tools for Summer – provides ideas to ensure you have the right tools at the ready for any project you take on this summer.

If you are interested in starting or continuing a sustainability journey, One Shade Greener at Home, could be the perfect resource. Full of brands and links to put greener products at your fingertips.
