Welcome to the Saturday recap. Enjoy!

Personal Development

This week, the blog had a singular focus – how to leverage our CliftonStrengths in the job search.

Searching for Jobs with CliftonStrengths. This first post of the week looked at the strengths through the lens of the four domains – Executing, Influencing, Relationships, and Thinking.

From there, each of the remaining four days dove into the strengths in each category. For every theme, suggestions were given in two areas – the approach to the search and areas of focus for the resume.  In addition, the Gallup definition of each strength is provided.

Here are the links to the four posts:  Executing Themes,  Influencing Themes, Relationship Themes, and Thinking Themes.

One Shade Greener

This week, the sustainability post – A Buying Hierarchy – provides a framework and great illustration created by Sarah Lazarovic looking at buying habits in a Maslow’s hierarchy format.

One Shade Greener at Home was built on these principles. This chart could be a great reminder to hang on a wall or in the corner of our computer screens reminding us to think before buying.
