Welcome to the Saturday post. Below is a quick recap of what was covered on both the personal development and sustainability blogs this week as well as some podcasts that inspired me. Enjoy!

Personal Development

This week continued the series of posts on the 8-dimensions of wellbeing.

If you would like to dive deeper into your reflection of 2023 and goals for 2024, a 63-page downloadable journal with questions and prompts can be found here.

Intellectual Wellbeing. The week kicks off exploring our creativity, hobbies, and curious mind.

Social Wellbeing. This post explores our relationships – family, friends, co-workers, and more.

Emotional Wellbeing. We dive into our feelings to become self-aware & self-regulate.

Environmental Wellbeing. This dimension looks at the spaces we occupy and the world around us.

Spiritual Wellbeing. The final post of the week has us looking inward to find connections.

In case you would like to review all 8 dimensions, here are the links to the three from last week:  physical, occupational, and financial.

PodList

This week, there are six podcasts that stood out to me.  Topics include personal development, holidays, and ideas to consider for the new year.  I hope you find some that resonate with you.

Design Your Own Employee Experience for 2024. 7 minutes. Modern Mentor.  Connected to our occupational wellbeing, this podcast provides ideas to consider about our personal experiences.

Make Holiday Gatherings More Meaningful. 6 minutes. Before Breakfast. As we continue the holiday gathering season, this post has some great tips from the book, The Art of Gathering.

Awaken Your Genius: Escape Conformity, Ignite Creativity, and Become Extraordinary. 13 minutes. The Next Big Idea Daily. This podcast is full of interesting ideas. One I connected with was changing the names of things like your office, a status meeting, or a to-do list. A name change shifts our perspective.

Path to True Work-Life Balance. 6 minutes. The Habit Coach. This podcast suggests that we start to measure our work by our work products and practices, not our time spent.

What Will Happen to Marketing in the Age of AI? 10 minutes. TED Talks Daily. This is an interesting podcast for marketers. It suggests we discover the space we want to focus in as AI becomes more a part of the discipline.  This podcast pairs well with another I found from HBR Ideacast – Setting AI Projects Up for Success. 24 minutes.
