Welcome to the Saturday post. Below are podcasts that inspired me this week and a quick recap of what was covered on both the personal development and sustainability blogs. Enjoy!

PodList

This week, there are four podcasts that stood out to me.  Topics include setting boundaries, taking risks, and creating even if you aren’t seeing visible impact.  I hope you find some that resonate with you.

3 Free Skills to Help You Earn More Money at Work. 11 minutes. Optimal Work Daily.  This podcast reviews three soft skills that can set you apart in the workplace and don’t need money to learn.

Time Pie Analogy. 3 minutes. Self-Improvement Daily. This episode discusses how you might think about the way you spend your time like a pie and how that might adjust your approach.

Very Special Episode: Hacks for Performance. 37 minutes. Happier with Gretchen Rubin. If you present, this is a podcast for you.  They cover ideas, hacks and habits related to presenting in front of others.

Wait, How Do Greenhouse Gases Actually Warm the Planet. 14 minutes. TILclimate. This is a great, short summary of greenhouse gases – what they are, how they protect and warm the earth, and what it means to climate change.

What Your Human Design Type Says About You. 1 Hour. The Goop Podcast. This last recommendation won’t be for everyone. I enjoyed learning about how the day and time you were born connects to the energy of the earth at that moment and how that might impact how you show up in the world.

Actions, Ideas, and Connections – This post provides a framework to consider what you plan and accomplish each day ensuring there is a mix of different activities.

Evaluating Days Through Strengths – Another post exploring how we might look at our days.  Are we leaning into all four dimensions of strength – executing, influencing, relationship, and strategy?

Ikigai – A Path to Purpose – If you haven’t created a personal Ikigai before, this post could be right for you.  The process to create your own “purpose” map is summarized.

Friday Work & Planning – The last post of the week explores what has been working and what hasn’t as I try Friday planning.  This is a good reminder that we all need to find our own “right” tools and process.
