Today, I’m going to highlight a topic I will call a hobby – astrology.
When I was in my teens, my girlfriend and I would buy our horoscope books each year.
In the morning before school, we would discuss the predictions for the day.
Since then, I loosely follow through emails, apps, and the occasional podcast.
So, what does that have to do with this post?
Pluto in Aquarius
There is a significant movement in astrology happening right now.
Pluto moves through the zodiac signs once every 12–30 years.
This year, Pluto is moving from Capricorn to Aquarius – where it will be until March of 2043.
You read that right – 19 years in Aquarius!
So, what does astrology say about the difference between Capricorn and the upcoming Aquarius?
Pluto in Capricorn (2008 – 2024)
The last 15-16 years have been characterized by a focus on power structures, authority, institutions, and traditions.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of structure, discipline, and responsibility.
During this period, there were economic crises, shifts in governmental power, and a reevaluation of the role of corporations, governments, and other large institutions in society.
On a personal level, people may have experienced challenges related to career, authority, and their relationship with power.
There could have been a focus on personal responsibility, achievement, and the need to rebuild or transform aspects of life that were outdated or no longer working.
Pluto in Aquarius (2023-2044)
Looking forward to the next 20 years, astrology suggests a shift towards themes of innovation, technology, community, and humanitarianism.
Aquarius is an air sign ruled by Uranus, the planet of rebellion, sudden change, and progress.
This period is likely to be marked by profound changes in technology, social structures, and collective thinking.
On a personal level, individuals may feel a push towards embracing their unique qualities and contributing to the collective in a meaningful way.
This period could inspire people to break free from traditional roles or structures that feel limiting and to seek more freedom and authenticity in their lives.
There might also be a heightened interest in community involvement, social causes, and collaboration.
My Perspective
As I read the information, I see these as potential shifts.
From Me to We.
From Productivity to Creativity.
From Bureaucracy to Fluidity.
From Should to Could.
From Structure to Fluidity.
From Hierarchy to Equality.
Honestly, I feel like I’m already seeing these transitions.
Technology will come into play.
So will our personal development.
We will need to discover our unique gifts to bring to the collective.
Our creative contribution to make things happen.
