Sometimes we just need an organizing day.
Something has become overwhelming, and we need to get things back in order.
This could be a physical space that has become cluttered or needs maintenance.
This could be digital files where we can’t seem to find what we need.
Maybe it’s our vision – we have become unclear about what we are doing and why.
Or even our mind might be too full of information we can’t focus on the present.
My Perspective
During these times, an organizing day might be just what is needed.
Step back, take a breath, and dive into the clutter – whatever form it has taken.
The day will likely start with great energy.
Then, we arrive at the messy middle.
We get tired.
Frustration may set in.
We wonder why we decided to do this in the first place.
We just want to be finished.
If we push through, the result will come.
The moment when we look at the day and realize the progress we made.
Spaces are in order – no matter if those spaces are physical, digital, or mental.
The day of stepping back allows us to move forward with more grace and ease.
Your Turn
Have you felt the excitement, messy middle, and accomplishment of an organization project?
Are there areas in your life that feel like they need a bit of organization right now?
Could you set aside a day to dive in?
