There was a quote from Seth Godin that caught my attention:

“A graceful person gets things done but does it in a way you’d be happy to have repeated.

A graceful person raises the game of everyone nearby, causing a race to the top, not the bottom.

The thing is, no one is born graceful.

It’s not a gift, it’s a choice.”

– Seth Godin

My Perspective

Being graceful isn’t something many people think about each day.

Yet, we see people who move with grace – smoothly, intentionally, and strategically.

They are calm under pressure.

They act with integrity.

They admit when they are wrong.

They are good listeners.

They take responsibility for their mistakes.

As Seth says, these qualities are not a gift they are a choice.

Each day, we make choices to act in a graceful manner (or not).

Starting to recognize when we act with grace (or not) will set us on an intentional path.

Your Turn

Do you see people around you regularly acting with grace?

Are you making the choice to act with grace?

What might you adjust to act with even more grace?
