
Last night I got sick.
It came on quickly around 6pm and by 8 I was in bed.
This got me thinking about how our energy (and plans) can be thrown off in a minute.
In many ways this happens every day.
Some days we are full of energy and others we wish we could just sit on the couch.
My Perspective
Maybe our days should have some flexibility to meet how we are feeling.
When we get up, we can quickly assess how we are feeling.
Does our energy level match the plan for the day?
If not, what can we do to shift things around to work with where we are.
Can a meeting time be moved?
Can a commitment be cancelled?
Can things on the list be pushed to tomorrow?
Having flexibility in our plans allows us to make small changes in the day.
These small shifts can make a big difference.
