At noon today (July 2nd), we will reach the halfway point of the year.

A time to reflect on the half that is complete and dream about the half to come.

Sometimes it can be hard to get started with the process.

So, the list below are some ideas for how you might want to think about your year.

Mid-Year Goal Assessment

Review the goals or resolutions you set on January 1st. Celebrate what you have accomplished, cross out what no longer applies, and re-strategize for the next six months. What is the one thing you want to make sure you accomplish?

Wellbeing Check In

Consider all 8 dimensions of wellbeing (occupational, financial, intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional, environmental, social) and consider if your life is currently sustainable in all areas. Do some need more attention than others? What progress did you make in the first half of the year? How might this change your approach in the second half of the year?

Word of the Year Reflection

If you chose a word of the year, how has it served you? Take some time to journal or quietly reflect on the impact the word has made. If the word is no longer relevant, what word could inspire your second half?

Habits and Routines

You could consider your daily/weekly/monthly habits and routines. Are they serving you well? Is there something missing that you would like to try to add in the second half of the year? Are there activities taking up time that are no longer serving you?

Energy Audit

We all have busy seasons and times when we have more or less energy. You could take some time today to check in with yours. This post can help you discover your patterns. How does your energy ebb and flow during an average day? Are there shifts you could make in your schedule to take better advantage of your daily cycle?

Your Turn

How are you planning to spend Halfway Day?

Do any of the activities above resonate?

What is one goal you have for the second half of the year?
