Trips are an interesting thing.
You anticipate the trip with excitement.
Even a business trip has the pull of something different.
The days away are seen as both long and short.
It seems like you have been gone a long time.
And, yet surprised that the time has come to an end.
What I love is that “going home” feeling.
The anticipation for your own bed.
Your routines.
The familiar coziness of home.
We take our day-to-day lives for granted.
We complain about them.
Yet, time away reminds us of what we love.
The reasons why we want to get back to the cozy feeling of home.
My latest trip was wonderful.
AND I’m happy to be home.
