Confidence is a funny thing.

We don’t really notice it most of the time.

Until something happens that amplifies or destroys it.

The “something” can be a big event or a tiny little moment.

Others may see the moment happen.

Or it’s invisible to the world.

When our confidence takes a hit (positive or negative), the first step is to recognize it happened.

Once you see it, you can manage where you go.

Positive confidence moments are like dopamine.

They can make us feel invincible.

Overconfidence can open us up to make dumb moves.

On the flipside, under confidence makes us feel invisible.

Like we have no qualities that are worth contributing.

The fear holds us back from making any moves.

Between Invisible and Invincible

The sweet spot of confidence is to sit in the middle between invisible and invincible.

Be proud of who you are and the value you add.

Don’t be overbearing or arrogant.

Our confidence is like a beautiful glass vase.

It represents our personal brand and what makes us unique.

Yet, without proper care we can find it hidden on the shelf or shattered on the ground.

Take time regularly to nurture your confidence.

And make sure you keep it in check.
