As we move into December, we move into holiday celebrations.

Our minds shift to reflect on the past year.

What went well and what we might have done differently.

Around the middle of the month (or sooner), we start to shift our thinking.

We start looking forward to the year ahead.

We have hopes and dreams for what is possible.

Over the next week or two, the posts will prompt us along this journey.

We’ll cover the 8 dimensions of wellbeing one at a time.

Reminding ourselves what they are.

Thinking about how we are currently doing.

Celebrating the accomplishments of the year that has passed.

Imagining the year to come.

The rest of this week will focus on the first dimension – occupational wellbeing.

My Story

This year, my word of the year was “Celebrate”.

In January, there were celebrations in front of me.

My daughter was getting married.

My son was graduating from college.

Those were obvious.

However, I also knew I wanted to do a better job of celebrating everyday moments.

I kept a journal with 3 things I celebrated about each day of the year.

The word has made an impact on my year.

This month, I want to share my word with you.

Let’s celebrate our journey through 2024.

Not every moment was rosy and worthy of celebration.

Yet, every day is filled with little things.

Welcome to the 2024 Season of Celebration!
